5th Annual Golf Tourney and Pig Roast
A round of “Night Golf” has been added this year as the Salisbury Winter Sports Association (SWSA) hosts its Fifth Annual Golf Tournament and Pig Roast Saturday, September 15th at the Undermountain Golf Course in Copake, NY (the rain date is Sunday, Sept. 16th ).
Participants in the two- person scramble event can now choose between two nine-hole flights, the first beginning at 11 a.m. and the second promptly at 1:30 p.m., an 18-hole category which begins at 11 am., and the nine-hole night round which will begin after dark.
The Sunday in the Morning Food Drive crew with NASCAR Dave will provide breakfast sandwiches, lunch and a pig roast picnic dinner following the tournament.
Cash and other prizes will be awarded in several categories including male, female and mixed teams, closest to the pin, etc.
Entry fees for the Tournament are as follows:
Nine holes only- $50 per person
Nine holes plus night round- $75
18 holes only- $75
18 holes plus night round- $125
Entry fee includes green fees, the pig roast and on-course beverages.
Proceeds from the tournament will benefit SWSA’s youth programs.
The daytime tournament is limited to 50 two-person teams, and the night round is limited to 18 two-person teams so pre-registration is recommended.
Event rules require any golfer registering for the night round to also register in one of the day-time rounds.
